Want something low maintenance? Today’s composite and PVC decking materials keep getting better every year. Azek, Timbertech, Trex, Zuri, there are lots of choices in color, style, appearance and functionality. 

Our favorite is Duralife Decking. It's made of polypropylene (PP) instead of PVC or PE like the others. What does that mean? PP is stronger so that the boards can be installed on 45 degrees with standard 16" joist spacing instead of 12" as required by the others. PP doesn't stain or swell at the ends like the others. PP doesn't expand and contract as much as the others. PP colors last longer and don't fade as much as the others. The board colors don't repeat the same pattern like the others, each board is unique. How we build Fesco decks is what we’re really proud of. We believe what’s underneath the surface is the most important part of the deck. That’s why we exceed standard building codes. If it takes a 2x6, we use a 2x8, if it’s a 2x8 we use a 2x10. You won’t feel any deflection or “bounce” on our decks. That’s how we can give a two-year workmanship guarantee.
