Real Red Cedar

The lack of red cedar available for fences due to the construction boom of 2020 has opened the door to look alike wood species. Chinese fir and Japanese sugi are 2 woods that are surfacing now as replacements. neither has the longevity, color or scent of red cedar. and obviously both are imported. we have a warehouse full of red cedar grown in the Pacific Northwest so we can continue to make red cedar fences that are built to last.
